SPENCER VAN MIL, M.D.
Spencer (he/him) is a Master’s student with our group. His thesis research in the M.Sc. in Health Sciences Education Program is focused on evaluating the impact of competency-based medical education on the experiences and wellbeing of pediatric residents. Spencer is currently a consultant pediatrician and student in the Clinician-Investigator Program at McMaster University.
KATHLEEN (KAT) HOWCROFT, B.A.
Kat (she/her) is a Master’s student with our group. Her thesis research in the M.Sc. in Health Sciences Education Program is focused on understanding health sciences faculty and students’ motivations for engaging in research on equity, diversity, and inclusion. Kat holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour with a minor in Gender Studies from McMaster University.
SAKSHI SINHA, B.HSc.
Sakshi (she/her) is a Master’s student with our group. Her thesis research in the M.Sc. in Health Sciences Education Program is focused on the emotional impacts of competency-based medical education on residents, faculty, and program administrators and leaders in psychiatry. Sakshi completed her undergraduate degree in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program at McMaster University.
MARINA BOUTROS SALAMA, B.Sc.
Marina (she/her) is a Master’s student with our group. Co-supervised with Dr. Catharine Munn, her thesis research in the M.Sc. in Health Sciences Education Program is focused on the impact of residency on the wellbeing of residents and their romantic partners. Marina completed her undergraduate degree in the Life Sciences Program at McMaster University.
RIDA QAMAR, B.Sc.
Rida (she/her) is a Research Assistant with our group. Her project is focused on understanding the wellbeing-related impacts of preparing for and applying to medical school. Rida is a recent graduate of the Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour Program at McMaster University.
MONICA SABINENNI, B.HSc.
Monica (she/her) is a Medical Student Researcher with our group. Her project is focused on assessing the quality of narrative comments in psychiatry. Monica completed her undergraduate degree in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Biomedical Commercialization and Discovery) Program at McMaster University.

Mariah (she/her) is a Medical Student Researcher with our group. She assists with various educational research projects. Mariah completed her undergraduate degree in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program at Queen’s University.
REBECCA MADAN
Rebecca (she/her) is an Undergraduate Thesis Student with our group. Her project is focused on understanding undergraduate students’ educational experiences with respect to 2SLGBTQIA+ issues. Rebecca is an undergraduate student in the Arts and Science Program at McMaster University.

Kundan (he/him) is a Research Volunteer with our group. Co-supervised with Dr. Noam Soreni, his project is characterizing parental questions and concerns about pediatric OCD. Kundan is a recent graduate of the Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour Program at McMaster University.
